Albert William Dore was born in Milton, Oxford, England, in August, 1894.
Part of the original contingent with the 4th CMR, Albert was wounded on 18th September, 1916.
Serving as a dispatch rider, Albert was decorated on the Somme, on 27th November, 1916, receiving the Military Medal.
Albert was struck off strength on 12th September, 1918.
