Belgium - Ypres Reservoir Cemetery - Ieper

Located just north-west of Ieper's town centre, Ypres Reservoir Cemetery holds 2,613 burials and commemorations.

Originally one of three cemeteries in the prison and reservior area of the town, these were consolidated into what became known as the Ypres Reservoir Cemetery.

As close as this cemetery is to the famous town's centre, sadly it is often overlooked.

Four of the known burials here are for men of the 4th CMR, lost during June 2nd 1916's 'Battle for Mount Sorrel'.
