William Douglas originally of the 154th BN, served with the 4CMR from 29th November, 1916, until he died of wounds on November 20th, 1917, aged 30 years, whilst a POW.

One of 103 men transferred into the 4CMR from the 154th BN, William is buried with three other 4CMR men at Cologne South Cemetery, Köln, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany.
